What’s an ITIN?
An ITIN, or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, is a tax processing number issued by the IRS to individuals who are not eligible for a Social Security Number. It allows people – regardless of immigration status – to file taxes, open accounts, and access financial services in the U.S.
