Eligibility is based on one or more of the following qualifying criteria:

To qualify for membership you must live in California or Nevada1, work for one of our Select Employer Group (SEG) organizations or be an immediate family member of a Rize Credit Union member or SEG employee. The benefits of Credit Union membership will always be available to you and your family, no matter where life takes you.

Spouses of persons who died while within a field of membership of the Credit Union; employees of the Credit Union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from employment; members of the immediate family or household; corporate or other legal entities in this charter, and organizations of such persons.

I have been with SCE Credit Union (now RIZE CREDIT UNION) for 31 years. I much prefer a credit union compared to a bank, as I find them to be so much more trustworthy and honest. I have learned over the years not to trust huge mega-banks. In one well-known large bank, we had a bank-internal theft of $5,000 many years ago. It took us FIVE MONTHS to get OUR MONEY back! And we had to fight to get it back! So corrupt! We have never had issues like this with our credit union. They are always very polite, friendly, and prompt in how they respond and provide services. I encourage everyone around me to do their banking with a credit union.
