Turning systems into solutions – one automation at a time

Eddie Rigby, Manager of Core Systems Operations, has been part of the Rize family since 2004. Over the years, he’s played a key role in maintaining and enhancing the internal core system that powers everything from account management and transaction processing to loans and deposits. He also manages the many integrated systems connected to the core and handles backend administrative settings.

“What I enjoy most is finding creative solutions to everyday challenges,” Eddie says. “When I can automate a manual task and give time back to a department, it feels like a real win – for the team and for our members.”

Eddie’s journey with Rize started with a temporary assignment to help rebrand all forms and materials with a new logo. That six-month project turned into a full-time role in Account Services – and he’s been growing with the organization ever since.

Before his career in credit unions, Eddie’s very first job was at a family-owned pizza parlor. “I did everything – bussing tables, making pizzas, running the register. I worked there for four years, starting at age 15, and to this day, my family still orders from that same restaurant.”

Outside of work, Eddie enjoys life with his wife, two young kids (ages 7 and 5), and their six cats – several of which are “foster fails” from his time volunteering in animal rescue. He’s also a dedicated golfer with a 4 handicap and hopes to eventually earn his PGA of America Membership card. His long-term goal? Retire from Rize after 35 – 40 years of service and look back on a career spent supporting the community.
